Participants must understand the principles of building SOHO (Small Office/Home Office) local networks, be familiar with the basics of working with Linux operating systems (Ubuntu or Debian), and have knowledge of TCP/IP network protocols. A basic understanding of network equipment configuration and the ability to work with cable networks are required.
Competition computers are pre-installed with Windows 10/11, web browsers (Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Yandex Browser), and tools for working with virtual machines and networks, including:
Additionally, the following equipment will be provided:
Participants must identify and troubleshoot hardware issues in a PC, properly crimp and test cable connections using copper twisted pair cables. They will also configure virtual machines on Linux and Windows and perform basic network equipment setup.
Participants must confidently work with Linux operating systems (Ubuntu or Debian), understand TCP/IP network protocols, and be able to configure medium and enterprise-level network equipment. Knowledge of server technologies, including PostgreSQL, and experience with DevOps approaches such as CI/CD in GitLab are required.
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation tools based on Ansible, containerization with Docker, and network infrastructure monitoring using Prometheus is necessary.
Competition computers are pre-installed with Windows 10/11, web browsers (Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Yandex Browser), and tools for virtualization, DevOps, and containerization, including:
Participants must deploy and configure a comprehensive IT infrastructure within a virtual laboratory, including network configuration, installation of Linux-based servers, deployment of a web application and a PostgreSQL database. Additionally, they must automate routine tasks using Ansible and set up infrastructure monitoring with Prometheus.
